Official Bio
Elizabeth A. Ruiz is a strategic communication and organizational leadership researcher, facilitator, and speaker. She is a subject matter expert on leadership and communication in the workplace. To date, she is the author of seven books including Leadership Strategies for a Multigenerational Workplace, The Psychology of Organizational Behavior: How to work with different personalities, and The Women’s Leadership Development Workbook.
A lifetime learner, Elizabeth is currently writing her dissertation in organizational leadership at Concordia University Chicago. She holds two master’s degrees, an MBA in management from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin and a Master of Science in strategic communication from Columbia University in the City of New York. She also has a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in communication studies, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Houston-Downtown.
Elizabeth currently lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband, Kevin. They have five adult children and three grandchildren in their blended family plus three dogs and one cat.
